Description Scott S. McCoy 2007-10-23 15:48:06 UTC
A key stroke and/or mouse action which allows a window to expand
to the greatest size possible given the current available space.
Using surrounding windows as boundaries, if a window is placed
in an empty area of the desktop, activating this command would
force it to resize to the greatest extent possible without
overlapping surrounding windows.

Note this feature should still work when placed on top of other
windows, using surrounding visible windows as their boarders

(This is a feature currently available in pekwm)

This feature has been implemented in Compiz Fusion's maximumize plugin.
