Description Raúl 2007-10-31 19:09:21 UTC
When I use the Virtual directive on the Screen section there seems to be problems allocating memory and as a consequence direct rendering and AIGLX are disabled. This is closely related to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10808 but as requested I'm filing a new bug.

I still have to check with the Cachelines option in the "Driver" section but even in the case that works, I think memory allocation should be managed in a way that DRI is not disabled.

Thanks.

Thanks for filing a new bug, Raul. Looks like the memory allocator is having trouble, though it appears that you should have enough memory for this configuration...

I'm going to DUP this one to 13253. I've made a lot of changes to the initial memory allocation code, hopefully we can fix your problem in the process.
