Description Tankred Hase 2007-11-03 09:51:57 UTC
I'm using Ubuntu gutsy. Wenn using the new intel driver with with my "intel GM 945" video card and connecting my "HP w2207" 22 inch monitor over D-Sub, the frequency of the monitor is somehow not found correctly. With the resolution of 1680x1050@60 the picture is sometimes pushed together and doesnt fill out the screen. The height of the picture is correct, but it isnt wide enough and the problem goes away when restarting X after several tries. This happens only sometimes and only under linux. Under windows, the intel driver works flawlessly. I have tried several xorg configurations and played around with xrandr, but nothing fixes this problem.
