xdg scripts manual are not clear enough on the calling order of
xdg-icon-resource, xdg-mime, xdg-desktop-icon/xdg-desktop-menu

In case of an installation:

- Should I call xdg-icon-resource before calling xdg-mime
- Should I register a MIME type with xdg-mime before adding an application to handle it with xdg-desktop-menu/xdg-desktop-icon.

And in case of an uninstallation, is it necessary to use a reverse order ?

There is no explicit information about this.

Those questions must be answered in the XDG scripts manual.
