Description Felix Apitzsch 2007-11-12 13:26:07 UTC
Playing flash videos on youtube.com crashes the X-Server.

This bug could be a duplicate of bug #12907, bug #11651, bug #12055 or other bugs. There are about 40 bugs with similar backtraces pointing to /usr/bin/X -> FontFileCompleteXLFD. Please mark this bug as duplicate, if you know which component really causes the crash. xorg-server? avivo/radeonhd? pixman? libpciaccess?

I have these crashes, since I use the (current-git) avivo-driver and libpciaccess. Gnash triggers them all the time. It started with crashes pointing to libpixman (see bug #12783). After updating to pixman-0.9.6 X still crashes, but now with a backtrace pointing to /usr/bin/X(FontFileCompleteXLFD+0x281).

libGLcore has been removed in the meantime. Is this still reproducible with current releases of xserver and Mesa?

closing due to lack of response and code change.
