Is this still an issue?
WORKSFORME, and i have the same card/machine. d.
Is the original bug submitter still around?
"Around" and not closer, sorry. I may be able to test again monday when I get my ppc machine back, with an old kernel (as in newer kernels the lack of a symbol prevents from insmoding 'nouveau'). Would it be meaningful ?
You mean the agp_flush thingie? (a workaround was added for that)
(In reply to comment #5) > You mean the agp_flush thingie? (a workaround was added for that) > Nope, see http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10547 (gcc --version 4.2.3-1) [drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810 nouveau: Unknown symbol __ucmpdi2
you can google around for a patch that adds a ucmpdi2 wrapper to the kernel. d.
(In reply to comment #7) > you can google around for a patch that adds a ucmpdi2 wrapper to the kernel. > > d. > Voilà. Vanilla debian recompilation took ages... I no longer see this bug !
