Is this still an issue?
Comment 2 Danny 2008-02-25 21:10:07 UTC

Is the original bug submitter still around?
Comment 4 Feth AREZKI 2008-03-08 08:49:35 UTC
"Around" and not closer, sorry. I may be able to test again monday when I get my ppc machine back, with an old kernel (as in newer kernels the lack of a symbol prevents from insmoding 'nouveau'). Would it be meaningful ?
Comment 5 Maarten Maathuis 2008-03-08 09:00:33 UTC
You mean the agp_flush thingie? (a workaround was added for that)

Nope, see http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10547 (gcc --version 4.2.3-1)
[drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810
nouveau: Unknown symbol __ucmpdi2

Comment 7 Danny 2008-03-09 19:42:24 UTC
you can google around for a patch that adds a ucmpdi2 wrapper to the kernel.

Voilà. Vanilla debian recompilation took ages...
