01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation NV31 [GeForce FX 5600] [10de:0312] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) I have random crashes both with and without randr12. They can appear as I open a window, closes a window, press enter in a terminal, switch between windows or clicking a link in firefox. They all gives DMA queue hangs in one form or another, but I have been unable to find a pattern in what triggers them. This current one was me opening something in gmplayer.

Created attachment 12734 [details] Xorg.0.log I thing I should add that drm, mesa, libpciacces, glproto and nouveau is one day old from git. xorg-xserver is about 6 days old as I have been unable to make it compile it from git since then.
I think nv30/31 are problematic cards (some issue with the 3d engine i think), at least from what i've observed in irc, i suggest you come into irc and ask pmdate and/or marcheu about it. A temporary workaround may be to disable NV30EXA, this can only be done by removing the composite hooks from the sourcecode.
I meant pmdata, not pmdate.
Is this still an issue?
It was a long time ago I had a crash with nouveau, so I think this is fixed....:-)
