Description Kjartan Maraas 2007-12-28 09:22:35 UTC
I've been trying to figure out what causes the corruption of the display when using the compositing manager in the metacity WM. So far I can see this only when compositing is enabled and it also happens with compiz it seems.

Got a screenshot here:

Compiled the latest code from git and tested it. The kernel is 2.6.24-rc6 based.

Xorg log file

This is Xorg.log when compositing is disabled. I don't think that should differ from the case where it's enabled though?

using xserver git? Could you try current tip with Michel's patch? And which version of mesa are you using?

I tried compiz on my 945gm yesterday with all tips, which seems work fine.
