After starting Xorg, X has no display and the screen is dark randomly.

Everything is OK, the display registers are correctly set, the monitor can detect the correct video signal. But the screen is blank, monitor is not in power-save mode (dpms off).

patch to try

reading register 0x3cc fixed the problem, but we still don't know why.

Since we didn't receive response from community, it seems that might because of the HW we use...mark it as notabug for now.
