Description David Zeuthen (not reading bugmail) 2003-11-12 13:40:16 UTC
I am using xserver + deps. from fd.o CVS checked out a few hours ago. I run the
GNOME 2.4 desktop from Fedora Cora 1 with xcompmgr. No problems; it looks good.
When starting emacs 21.3.2 (the one shipped with fedora core 1) it still looks
good.

When I move the emacs window all the text in emacs disappear and it starts
drawing characters all over the window. As soon as xcompmgr is killed emacs
starts behaving normally again.

Oh, sorry, forgot to add that I'm using the Xmach64 server on a Dell Inspiron
7500 laptop if that makes a difference.

David, just chasing up old bugs. This one's a real old one :)
Do you still ahve this problem? Better yet are you in a position to test if it's still broken?
