Description Simon 2008-01-27 15:01:16 UTC
It happened already previously, but it didn't change in 2.23:

In Openoffice "Styles and Formating" I can assign a font well as a font-face to a specific style. I'd like to have a text style using DejaVu Sans with font-face "Extra Light". I can enter everything correctly and the text layout indeed changes instantly. However, when I close the document and reopen it, it is back to font-face Book.

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 (with Openoffice 2.3). The same problem has already existed under Ubuntu 7.04. Is this rather an openoffice bug?

Simon

PS: I really like that "Extra Light" face on DejaVu.

I believe this is no longer relevant. Old OpenOffice.org had many weird rendering issues under Linux until LibreOffice developers fixed it early after the fork.

I confirm that this bug isn't there anymore since quite some time anymore. Changed status to "closed".
