Note: same symptom for EXA and XAA
The log shows: (II) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI2 capable I don't think DRI2 should have been enabled by default and don't know why the code (http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg-commit/2008-February/014739.html) effective on your system. You might throw the question to fedora or X community.
Problem does not happen with 2.2.99
