Created attachment 14920 [details] test PDF Hello, Okular displays Courier in italic typeface, unlike KPDF, which correctly displays in normal typeface. I've reported this to Debian as well, I'm not sure whose problem it is: (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=469310) I have a test pdf and png screenshots comparing Okular and KPDF output. Here are URLs to them in the Debian bug report. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=CourierTestDoc.pdf;att=1;bug=469310 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=renderedByOkular.png;att=2;bug=469310 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=renderedByKPDF.png;att=3;bug=469310 Looking at the Font Properties dialogs, Okular and KPDF use two different fonts for Courier: Okular Courier Type 1 /usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1/n022024l.pfb OTJKZH+CMR10 Type 1C Yes (subset) KPDF Courier Type 1 /usr/share/fonts/type1/gsfonts/n022003l.pfb OTJKZH+CMR10 Type 1C Yes Let me know if you need any more info, Thanks! C.

Oh yes, okular is using libpoppler-qt4-2 0.6.4-1
What does fc-match Courier return on your system?
$ fc-match Courier n022003l.pfb: "Nimbus Mono L" "Regular"
Should be fixed on git master branch
