This is actually not a bug as far as i understand it.
What is it then? The program doesn't display the file properly, and the okular developers told me to report this bug here.
I think the problem is that the object is "natively" very small, and somehow the scaling up doesn't look very good. I have absolutely no idea how to fix it though.
Ok, having a second look maybe it has to do with a bad handling of semitransparent polygons, moving from wish to regular bug again, but don't expect it to be fixed anytime soon as we don't have anyone with the knowledge and free time combination to fix it.
Asymptote developers changed their example, so the original PDF is not available anymore. Could you find the old PDF or another testcase, please?
