Description Jim Huang 2004-09-30 01:44:52 UTC
Here is my attempt to merge pending nv driver patches into Xorg cvs head.

NV40 is supported in the attached patch, including GeForce4, Quardo4, GeForce FX, and
Quardo FX. Also, addition to nVidia chip info is improved. Blit functions are introduced with
nVidia hardware features.

Where did this code originate?
Comment 4 Andy Grover 2004-12-01 11:57:31 UTC
Jim can we get an answer to Mike's question and get moving on getting this in? I
have a Quadro 1300 which is slowly becoming obsolete, while this patch waits in
limbo.
Comment 5 Alan Coopersmith 2004-12-01 12:58:25 UTC
How does this compare to the already completed merge of nv driver updates from
Mark Vojkovich which is in CVS head & the 6.8.2 branch from bug id #1777?
Comment 6 Andy Grover 2004-12-01 17:29:23 UTC
I don't know the code intimately but they look 99% the same.

However, bug 1777's patch omits the one line I care about:

+ { 0x10DE00FE, "Quadro FX 1300" },

Put that in and I'm happy.

This was superceded by later Xorg merges.
