As reported in LP #225329 by blink38: The resolutions of the monitor LDLC 19" LCD - Multimédia LM19T aren't properly detected, which caused Ubuntu to run in a very low resolution. Somehow the other monitor, which used to work, now also gives problems. The Hanns-G HG216D monitor now works at 650x380. I don't know if it has anything to do with this bug report, but it could. Maybe both problems have one cause. This is the Xorg.0.log: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14191830/Xorg.failed
Failed to get EDID from monitor, and closed driver. Your VGA cable is probably broken. But if it's not, there's not much we can do about it.
