Description Cliff Brake 2008-05-08 08:37:45 UTC
While trying to get the elographics driver to work, I noticed that the 1.1.0 version generates cursor movement (although clipping is messed up), where the 1.2.0 does not. I traced it down to the following change:

http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-input-elographics.git;a=commit;h=72408c2404246b9cb4698bd45be439be8ced3c23

A few side effects of the above change:
- I don't get any cursor movement
- X can be stopped with Ctrl-C
- USB mouse no longer works

reversing the above change, and the driver seems to work fine (at least with simple usage).
