Description Mike Snook 2008-05-27 22:30:29 UTC
While running separate X screens on each of 2 monitors, the water plugin of compiz produces unwanted results. Toggle Rain does not produce expected rain effect on desktop, but rather random effects, including artifacts consisting of half the screen and extremely fast flickering of the screen. Sometimes these disappear on their own, sometimes an X restart is required. Using the mouse ripple feature simply moves the mouse to the extreme corner of the desktop. Both features work correctly in single-head mode, including cloned monitors. Other plugins are either fine.

System is Fedora 8 with the nVidia drivers from the livna repo.
Monitors are CRTs connected to the same GeForce 8600.
Compiz is version 0.7.5 using the binaries from Leigh123's compiz repo.
