The xorgconfig utility refers user to Monitors file: The valid range for horizontal sync and vertical sync should be documented in the manual of your monitor. If in doubt, check the monitor database /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/doc/Monitors to see if your monitor is there. This file (xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/doc/Monitors) was removed with rev. 3. 20 on Sat Oct 18 12:31:12 2003 UTC in XFree86 CVS before the xfree86 merge on 2003-11-30 13:13:38. Patch comming shortly removes reference to this file in xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/xf86config/xorgconfig.c
