I've reverted my origin wrong patch on xserver, it should work with master now.

If it's alike #17304, cworth might own this.
Zhenyu, I suspect this not the same as #17304, because: 1) 17304 only happens with GEM, and this is without GEM. 2) this only happens after VT switch.
bug#17341 has been fixed and the patch committed. Jiewen, could you retest master branch to see if that helps this bug?
