Description Tobias Koenig 2008-09-12 05:43:45 UTC
Hej,

the fiction book format is a quite popular ebook format (infos: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FictionBook ) that is still missing a mimetype entry in the database. The extension is .fb2 and the mime type application/x-fb2.

Ciao,
Tobias

Proposed XML snippet + test entry

This is the proposed addition for freedesktop.org.xml.in, and the added entry for the test case.

Test case

Free testcase, taken from http://www.fictionbook-lib.org/showbook.php?id=17.
To be saved as Stallman_Richard_-_The_GNU_Manifesto.fb2, so there are no problems with the test suite.

Tests nicely pass; may I commit, Bastien?
Comment 4 Bastien Nocera 2009-01-08 07:21:41 UTC
Changed the mimetype to application/x-fictionbook+xml instead.

* freedesktop.org.xml.in:
* tests/Stallman_Richard_-_The_GNU_Manifesto.fb2:
* tests/list: Patch from Pino Toscano <pino@kde.org>
to add the FictionBook (fb2) file type (Closes: #17553)
