Description Dale Busse 2004-11-02 12:52:30 UTC
When using rdesktop thin client to connect to a W2K3 Terminal server box, the
"Insert", "Home", "Page Up", "Page Down", "End" and "delete" keys don't seem to
work. If I configure the same thin client machine to do an X session to a
Linux server, then those keys work fine. If I use another Linux box and use
rdesktop to connect to the same W2K3 box, those keys work fine as well. It
seems if that the version of rdesktop is misconfigured/broken that comes with
LTSP. Any ideas on how to get those keys working?

This is covered in http://wiki.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Rdesktop it is a
problem with rdesktop looking for the keymaps in /usr/local/share not /usr/share.
Solved by creating links. I think this should be escalated. Although its easy to
fix, it is a major show stopper for sites who need the right keymap, I've been
struggling with it for a few months now!
