gpk-update-viewer has two possible states: collapsed (global view) or expanded (when pressing "check").

I think it should remember the last used state: I prefer seeing all available data about my updates and, therefore, would like the update viewer to start expanded right away.

No, I think it would confuse users why they sometimes get one page and sometimes another. Only power users would look at the details anyway. Sorry, closing.
