Xprt in CVS HEAD has 1bit StaticGray visual with 8bit color resolution. This sounds weired, maybe its a bug. xdpyinfo sample: visual: visual id: 0x2d class: StaticGray depth: 1 plane available colormap entries: 2 red, green, blue masks: 0x0, 0x0, 0x0 significant bits in color specification: 8 bits ^^^^^^ weired!
