Description Michael Moyle 2004-11-14 09:26:55 UTC
I am using an IBM Thinkpad x30.
This is a Japanese version with a Japanese keyboard.
If I set my console KEYMAP="jp106" in /etc/rc.conf (GENTOO) the backslash key
works fine. When I start X it no longer works. I have set:

xorg.conf:
       Option "XkbModel" "jp106"
       Option "XkbLayout" "jp"

This works on normal Japanese systems. But does not activate the key on x30.

Are you still experiencing this bug with a current version of xorg?
If so please post your xorg.conf and your Xorg.log

I'm closing this bug due to the lack of activity. If the problem still persists
with a current release of xorg, please reopen!
