It seems to work for me. What libspectre version are you using and what's exactly the problem with the images? could you provide a screenshot showing the problem? Thanks for reporting.
Created attachment 20697 [details] Okular viewing pages 8 & 9 of the problematic file libspectre versions 0.2.0 and 0.2.1 both exhibit this behaviour. The GhostScript version is 8.62 (Debian version 8.62.dfsg.1-3.1).
Works here for me on 0.2.2 are you on 32 or 64 bits?
