Description Jiri Slaby 2008-11-22 02:43:19 UTC
I'm getting EQ overflowing after some time I work on the desktop. It seems like a bug in acceleration somewhere. This happens often when using xv and some message come to thunderbird and popup shows up or in similar situations. I don't know how to reproduce this easily.

It's:
X.Org X Server 1.5.2
Release Date: 10 October 2008
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0
Build Operating System: openSUSE SUSE LINUX
Current Operating System: Linux bellona 2.6.28-rc5-mm1_64 #477 SMP Wed Nov 19 13:22:04 CET 2008 x86_64
Build Date: 11 November 2008 12:12:04PM

Many useful information are available in the URL (novell bugzilla).

The trace (trace generation backported from git):
[mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.

The backtrace info looks very similar to bug#18640. So I'm marking dup here. Please follow the update there.
