Created attachment 21475 [details] Sax2 monitor configuration screenshot This is how looks monitor selection module in sax2. I do not know where does this module come from - exclusively from opensuse, or from X.org, but I think I saw similar configuration option in another non-opensuse distribution. I also can see a section in x.org conf, which shows monitor configuration. I suppose monitor list provides default preferred values for listed options for each monitor model. I do not know if this options affect something, but I think I remember that selecting monitor model similar to NEC MultiSync LCD195VXM+ did help to solve some issues with display. (provided section is taken from another machine - not from one with NEC monitor connected) Section "Monitor" DisplaySize 331 207 HorizSync 30-62 Identifier "Monitor[0]" ModelName "SAMSUNG LCD MONITOR" Option "DPMS" Option "PreferredMode" "1280x800" VendorName "SEC" VertRefresh 43-60 UseModes "Modes[0]" EndSection
Sounds like a SuSE bug to me.
