According to Unicode Technical Report #25, page 15:

"U+2023 ‣ TRIANGULAR BULLET and U+25B8 ▸ BLACK RIGHT-POINTING SMALL TRIANGLE are not intended to be distinct in appearance."

But they are quite different in size in DejaVu fonts.

Since U+25B8's size is important relative to other math operators, U+2023 should be enlarged.
