In the GSUB tables for DejaVuSerif.ttf there is an entry for script 'latn' / language 'TUR '. But 'TUR ' is not a valid language. If it's for Turkish the code is 'TRK ' which the font also has. None of the other font variants has an entry for 'TUR '.
