Description Rafał Miłecki 2009-02-15 13:48:01 UTC
How to reproduce:
$ wget http://www.fjsoft.at/download.php?id=1
$ wine MyPhoneExplorer_Setup_1.7.1.exe
select language, click "OK", read licence and agree. In next step there is installation directory selection. After clicking "Next" system lockups (only SysRq works).

It doesn't happen if I disable DRI and use shadowfb. Happens on DRI + EXA.

It's bug about radeonhd but I also tried radeon (from git of course, r6xx-r7xx branch). The same issue.

So I switched back to radeonhd and tried disable composite. Also no luck with that option.

Alex: is this reproductable for you? Is there sth else I can test?

If I use SysRq in right moment I can see such a repeating lines in Xorg.0.log:
> [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.
> [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.
> [mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.
> [mi] mieqEnequeue: out-of-order valuator event; dropping.

P.S.
This still happens with today drm git.

Fixed (that was the same bug as reported in bug #20252).
