menu-spec know only one top level category for science: Education. Science is allowed only as a secondary category, and even it is not allowed e. g. for Economy, Geography and several other. It forces ugly mixing of educational games and scientific software in the same menu. Proposed solutions: 1) We need a new main category: 1a) Move Science to main catagories 1b) New broader main category: Research (maybe better) 2) All sciences must be allowed for both Science and Education, and in case of 1b for Research as well. Created attachment 64034 [details] [review] 0001-Move-Science-to-Main-Category.patch Proposed patch for 1a.
Created attachment 64036 [details] [review] 0002-All-sciences-should-have-both-Education-and-Science.patch Proposed patch to implement 2 on top of 1a. I was unsure for Sports, but I can imagine sports science. (Well, I can even imagine Utility;Sports e. g. for sports heartbeat monitor device utilities, as well as Utility for many other items in the Science category.)
