There are no boarders drawn around windows in xmonad and dwm, it just shows an empty space where the border should be. Running an 8800GTS
It helps to provide at least the content from dmesg and xorg's log.

You're running in swaccel mode, haven't you got nouveau's kernel module installed? (then later we can try to figure out why swaccel doesn't work)

So borders work with hwaccel?
No reponse from the reporter for more than a year. Closing as it's likely user error. If the problem still exists on current version, please reopen with new set of logs.
I'm reopening this issue as I see it on my MacBook Pro retina running Debian Wheezy with kernel 3.7-rc5. Please let me know what more information you want. Best regards, Magnus
