Description Dave Airlie 2004-12-12 01:03:59 UTC
There are patches around for adding tvout support to the mach64.

This bug is to keep an up-to-date bug with a view to merging it to CVS HEAD if
there are no issues.

I'm currently awaiting a replacement cable for my laptop when I have it I'll
test this works.

This works fine on my Fujitsu P2110 with FreeBSD 6-CURRENT.

Any reason, why this patch is not yet commited to HEAD?

I've committed this patch to Xorg head, someone should make sure it works.. I
don't have the hardware but it worked fine for me the last time I did have it...

I applied this patch to xorg 6.8.2 (actually xorg-x11-6.8.2-r1 on Gentoo -
basically xorg-6.8.2 with a bunch of patches). Had to manually apply the
Imakefile part but other than that it applied cleanly.

Its now working great on my mach64 PCI card (Rage 3D pro LT or something like
that). 640x480 and 800x600 tested on my NTSC TV. I haven't tested it against
CVS HEAD (not really planning too), but I thought you might appreciate the heads up.

I really appreciate this being updated for Xorg as I've never been able to get
TV-out working before!
