Might be related to: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=20915

When issuing modeset=1 Xorg happens to be using 100% for while and then sits in the background while I get a blank screen. Repeated error gets logged:
[drm:nv50_display_command] *ERROR* timeout: 0x610300

Xorg also seems to have difficulty parsing edid. I'm not sure which commit is responsible for this. Using plain 'insmod nouveau.ko' works great. I have attached logs so take a look :)
Thanks.

Any ideas, am I doing something silly that nobody wants to reply? :p

I grabbed few drm patches from http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/rpms/kernel/F-11/ and built kernel for Archlinux x86_64, modesetting is functioning now :) Everything seems to be working well, I'm using gallium3d atm, hopefully drm nouveau will merged in kernel 2.6.31.
