It's supported for quite long time.

If you have specific problem, please reopen and provide detailed info according to http://intellinuxgraphics.org/how_to_report_bug.html.
Comment 2 Issa 2009-03-31 02:14:21 UTC
Excuse me Jin, but according to the README file of version 2.6.0 of the driver, PAL is not fully supported.

Known limitations:
..
..
- Gray output with integrated TV-out and PAL TVs.
Comment 3 Gordon Jin 2009-03-31 20:10:58 UTC
Sorry, the README has been deprecated, and thanks for your reminder I'll see how we could improve it.

The latest known issues are listed at http://intellinuxgraphics.org/2008Q4.html.
Comment 4 Issa 2009-04-01 01:57:10 UTC
What's your schedule about this issue (PAL in colour) ?

comment#1 is still valid -- I meant it's already supported in current driver. Just README is wrong.
Comment 6 Issa 2009-04-12 00:36:00 UTC
Hi Jin,

I am still having problem with this one.

I have compiled version 2.6.0 of the driver and I can't get PAL out on my TV in color.

Please find details about my setup

The TV display is BW. Could you confirm the support for PAL in color is in v2.6.0 or not. Thx

PAL is supported -- it runs fine on my TV with s-video connection.
What kind of TV connector are you using? (s-video, component=YPbPr, composite)
Comment 9 Issa 2009-04-13 14:20:28 UTC
Well,

I am using a svideo to rca cable (svideo from PC, composite on TV).

I tested the cable with a DVD player known to deliver color on the TV through SCART with my cable. I was also outputing BW images. But I had already reponed this bug. So I wonder know if the cable is not the problem.

What I can try is the following, I have a svideo/svideo cable and a scart/svideo/composite adapter. I will try it and post the result of my test.

Keep you posted.
Thx
Comment 10 Issa 2009-04-19 13:35:24 UTC
I'm closing the bug because I can't get a decent SVIDEO to RCA cable. I can't make any further input on this one and am simply giving up.

Thx anyway
