Hello,

0x95C0:0x1028:0x3243 card is provided with Dell Optiplex 960.

lscpi show:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc Mobility Radeon HD 3470

This card work with fglrx driver (except big desktop) but don't work with radeonhd driver.

This card have two DisplayPort and two LDC monitor connected through DVI-D <-> DisplayPort adapter.

X don't start:

I have tried with HPD option set to Off, Swap, Normal without any success.

Please find in attachment the xorg.conf, normal Xorg.0.log and Xorg.0.log verbose 7 and the rom file.

I have tried to fix the problem myself without any success i have very limited C/C++ clue. I don't understand why RHDConnectorsInit don't work and return "Card information has invalid connector information".

Thank you very much

Best Regards,

Nicolas DEFFAYET

Does this issue occur with the preferred ati driver (xf86-vide-ati)? If so, please move this to the Driver/Radeon component.

Development of radeonhd has pretty much halted and development focus is on the ati driver. Please see http://www.x.org/wiki/radeonhd

If the issue does not exist in the ati driver (or if there is no response to this message), this bug will be closed as WONTFIX unless someone contributes a patch.
Comment 2 Jeremy Huddleston Sequoia 2011-11-07 15:30:47 UTC
Closing due to lack of response. Please reopen and move to the Driver/Radeon
component if this issue persists with xf86-video-ati
