GNOME displays applications like this: »Epiphany Web Browser« The reason seems to be languages which cannot simply construct a name like ("%s %s", Name, GenericName). As this doesn't conform to the specification (and the German translators need consistent .desktop files between GNOME and third party applications). Currently GNOME has »Epiphany Web Browser« as the Name, while applications like Gimp only have their Name (just like the specification says), they have the generic name in the GenericName field. So we might need a new iteration on this.
