Description Ruslan Kabatsayev 2009-05-10 07:07:12 UTC
I tried several distros on different machines in NoAccel mode (for various reasons i had to do this). The result is that even on modern machines with Core2Duo CPU i had no more than about 0.4 FPS, while even on Pentium III 700MHz machine (HP OmniBook XE3) windows' software rendering is way faster (tested on GTAVC). In fact, in windows FPS is about 10-20.

Some of applications and hardware i tried:

Netbook Launcher under EasyPeasy 1.0 on EEE PC 901
GTA3&Vice City in wine under EasyPeasy 1.0 on EEE PC 901 and under VectorLinux 6.0 on HP OmniBook XE3
XScreenSaver on VectorLinux 6.0 on HP OmniBook XE3.

They all have this problem.
