Description Rimas Kudelis 2009-05-24 13:17:53 UTC
Since kernel now has support for Euro and Dollar keys and HAL converts Acer's keys appropriately (since 2007, see commit here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/hal-info/commit/?id=6b41960a556d9164b429f575e6e685800558278b ), the related section symbols/inet should also be updated.

I would gladly provide a patch, but I have no idea where to get the appropriate numbers from. Perhaps Carlos would help?

Possible patch?

Not sure if this is sufficient or even works since I don't have access to an Acer laptop ATM. But maybe?..

Possible patch?

Apparently, this IS wrong.

Carlos, would you please improve the codes as appropriate?..

The Euro and Dollar keycodes produced by the kernel are > 255, and X cannot currently handle that, until bug 11227 is fixed.
