Log of crashed server

1. First X server is started with a gnome session by GDM.
2. With the button "New login" I start the second GDM on the second VT.
3. Just after login I have a cyan screen with a mouse I can move but nothing else. Even with Alt-Sysrq-r Ctrl-Alt-Fn I can't switch to another VT (however Alt-Sysrq-b works).
If I connect from another computer and restart the X server I have my text consoles in a strange video mode with garbage, but X server works.

This bug is not 100% reproducible, but statistically it is more probable if I have a video player using xv video output in the first screen.

Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not obviously still valid. Please file a new report if you continue to experience issues with a current server.
