Bug submitted to Debian by Fabian Greffrath <greffrath@leat.rub.de>: With LANG=C choose "Layouts" and then "Layout Options...". There is a checkbox that lets you enable a "Key sequence to kill the X server" and this key sequence is "Control + Alt + Backspace". In the German translation the key sequence reads "Strg + Alt + Entf". This is wrong, because the "Entf" key on the German keyboard is not the same as the "Backspace" key. Instead the "Entf" key is the same as the "Del" key, which - if pressed in a sequence with Control and Alt - will not kill the X server, though. In the German language the "Backspace" key is usually refered to as "Rücktaste".

BTW Sergey, let me know if I should report such bugs directly to the translator instead of using bugzilla.
We're using translations provided by the Translation Project (which does not have bugzilla AFAIK). We never edit them directly. Please upload updated .po file to TP. Or contact the person mentioned in the .po file header: Mario Blättermann mario.blaettermann at t-online.de
These errors would rather be directed to translators immediately.
Fixed in TP repository. http://translationproject.org/PO-files/de/xkeyboard-config-1.6.99.de.po Changes will be included in the next xkeyboard-config release 1.7.
