Hello all, I have had commit privileges for hal and hal-info for quite a while now, and helped with their maintenance quite a bit [1]. Now that development has moved to devkit, it would be great if I could commit simple or approved patches myself as well, such as in bug 22574. As a downstream distributor, I won't do a lot of major development, but concentrate on bug/build fixes, etc. Thanks for considering! Martin [1] http://cgit.freedesktop.org/hal-info/log/?qt=committer&q=martin.pitt%40ubuntu.com http://cgit.freedesktop.org/hal/log/?qt=committer&q=martin.pitt%40ubuntu.com
For the record: martin@annarchy:~$ groups freedesktop hal This means I'd like to join the "devicekit" group: $ ls -ld /git/DeviceKit/DeviceKit-power.git/ drwxrwsr-x 7 david devicekit 4096 2008-08-01 03:12 /git/DeviceKit/DeviceKit-power.git/
Ack. I would like martin to push patches into DeviceKit-power. Thanks.
Is there anything I need to do or change about this bug? There is no component for new committer requests, but I think I assigned it to the site wranglers correctly, as per documentation. Thanks!
Ping. Can someone please put Martin in the 'devicekit' group? Thanks!
Bug 25444 is related to this. Closing this as a dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 25444 ***
Thanks David! I reopen this for now to cover the DK-power side. Once that changes name, too, we can close this for good.
upower group created and you've been added to it; closing.
