The following line is printed in Xorg.0.log: (WW) intel(0): Disabling Xv because no adaptors could be initialized. [Original Description] After upgrading to Karmic (alpha) my graphics driver is unable to provide Xv. The following line is printed in Xorg.0.log: (WW) intel(0): Disabling Xv because no adaptors could be initialized. I've tried various settings in xorg.conf, with no luck. (XvPreferOverlay, Tiling). The problem is gone when KMS is disabled. I would also like to add that Xv is enabled with the alpha 2 release (Driver version 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1), but stopped working after upgrading the system after installation.
