Description Sam Morris 2009-08-09 03:33:28 UTC
PolicyKit will occasionally screw up the ACL entries on my CD-ROM and audio
devices.

Sometimes this happens when I resume my laptop from suspend, but occasionally my Linux system in a virtual machine will randomly lose its ACLs.

Switching to another virtual terminal and then back again causes the ACLs to be restored.

For example, this morning when I woke the laptop up, I was no longer in
the ACLs for any of the devices in /dev/snd.

According to ck-list-sessions, I'm still logged in:

Session116:
	unix-user = '1000'
	realname = 'Sam Morris,,,'
	seat = 'Seat1'
	session-type = ''
	active = TRUE
	x11-display = ':0'
	x11-display-device = '/dev/tty8'
	display-device = ''
	remote-host-name = ''
	is-local = TRUE
	on-since = '2009-06-20T18:58:19.206724Z'
	login-session-id = '4294967295'

This bug report is for the old version of PolicyKit. Closing as all of the code has been rewritten. Please reopen if the bug report applies to the latest version of PolicyKit. Thanks.
