register dump before running xrandr.

The screen goes black (except for a few lines at the top), when I plug in an external monitor (CMO 22" display, 1680x1050 resolution), and run xrandr.

The system is running Ubuntu Koala alpha 4.

Steps to reproduce:

Boot the machine.

Log in on laptop.

Plug in external CMO panel.

run xrandr

Display then screws up.

Lots of stuff attached.

Note the bug is exactly repeatable, and that the X server/system is *not* hung; the cursor will still track, and change as you cross windows. And the cursor tracks across from the built in panel to the CMO external screen.
