Po files are generated based on information contained in freedesktop.org.xml.in file, elements <_comment></_comment> The information in the attribute pattern in <glob> elements could be given as comments to translators in the po files. Thus translators that use just the Transifex interface will have easier time deciding how to translate the file fypes.
Unfortunately, it seems that intltool doesn't allow doing that easily. I really don't want to be adding translator comments manually for each glob.
