WMA2 Audio Codec is not supported by gstreamer plugins or ffmpeg. Windows Media Audio V2 (WMA2) is a perceptual audio codec that is usually packaged in ASF files.

Codec ID: WMA v2 (ID 0x161)

There is no codec pack or application that is able to view these files.
Example Content:
Bloomberg TV via "Launch Video Player"
http://www.bloomberg.com/tvradio/tv/index.html
http://bloomberg.com/avp/avp.htm?clipSRC=LiveBTV

Current Result:
Plays video but audio is muted

Expected result:
Plays both audio and video in sync, with no delay.

This bug is a request to include the WMA2/WMAS audio codecs to the gstreamer plugin packs. If there are any issues with doing this please comment on this bug.

The libdmo_plugin.so codec module can be found here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=97969&d=1230581757

This bug was create to request WMA2 to be supported by gstreamer. If this is not possible due to legal issues or other roadblocks, please define what the issue is with supporting this codec.

This is the freedesktop bugzilla, not the GStreamer bugzilla.

Please go to http://bugzilla.gnome.org and file there.
