xorg log file

At startup my CRT TV connected via component no longer picks up the 576p TV Format I have specified which used to work before KMS. Adding
the nomodeset kernel boot parameter to revert to UMS mode resolves the issue.

I have tried to use both "TV Format" and "mode" options but neither appear to work.

Note, setting the output mode using xrandr works with KMS. This bug report is asking for the xorg.conf support for setting these values to be fixed.

Hi Robert,

Is this bug the same as #25430 or were you trying to highlight some distinction?

If there is some distinction, I think that support will be added (or not) at
the same time as what's being asked for in #25430 so I'll close this one as
a duplicate.

I wasn't sure if it was a duplicate so submitted separate bugs.

If you are saying that xorg.conf support for both TV Format and margins is currenty missing from KMS and will be added at the same time, then I am fine with merging these bugs.
