Created attachment 32109 [details] Document in which 'u' is missing when dispalyed with okular okular doesn’t display ‘u’ in certain documents. I will attach an effected document. evince does display the attached document correctly. This bug was reported downstream at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462784 and at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218892 where I was asked to report it here.

Works for me. Which poppler version are you using? Do you have the poppler-data package installed? What is the output of running okular from the shell?

That u doesn't render correctly with that freetype version, update to a newer version.
